Everyone’s favourite pairing of wine and cheese is now on wheels.
Today I was invited to the launch of Vancouver’s newest foodtruck: Aperitivo Food Truck. Bought to you by the same husband and wife duo that currently owns and operates Mom’s Grilled Cheese, Green Coast Coffee, and Melt City. And Aperitivo is baby number 4. Considering 1-3 focuses on coffee and cheese friendly offerings, their newest endeavour isn’t too far out of their wheelhouse.
Like the term Aperitivo suggests, the goal of the truck is to be a snacking option. Something that is served before a meal, meant to stimulate the appetite.
This roaming cafe and bar will be traveling around the Lower Mainland this summer, setting up at various events and outdoor occasions. Worth noting is they will be limited in their liquor offerings depending on the venue. They are available for private celebrations, and is able to serve alcohol like cocktails, beer, and wine when licensed and permitted.
Patrons can expect Italian beverages and small plates including aperitifs, cocktails, beer, wine, coffee, charcuterie platters, chips and dip, olives, fresh baked Italian cookies, and pastries.
