The Vancouver Foodster, everyone’s favourite local resource for food and drink is hosting his very first Pizza Crawl. Better known for his self guided tours and challenges that invite you to visit new and upcoming restaurants and cafes, this crawl is a variation on the above.
No set time or date, no competition and voting component, just two weeks to enjoy unique and limited-edition pizzas from some of Vancouver’s finest pizzerias, all vetted by the Vancouver Foodster himself. From November 16 to November 30, 2022; pizza-lovers can enjoy 2 weeks of delicious pizzas from 10 restaurants across metro Vancouver. Each restaurant has created a new pizza creation that they will be featuring during the two-week period on their menus for all to order and try. Some of the restaurants will be offering whole pizza pies while others will offer whole pizza pies and slices for dine-in, takeout. Some available for delivery through the various apps as well.
Wild Flour Pizza – Banh Mizza
The Banh Mizza take you back to that first bite of a crispy and delicious Vietnamese sub. Our white sauce and mozzarella is topped with spicy jalapenos and a house-made Vietnamese pork sausage (nem nuong) before getting blistered in the oven. It is finished with pickled daikon and carrots, fresh cilantro and mint, and a drizzle of fish sauce caramel. All on our signature sourdough crust!

They are showing our Neapolitan roots here… as in Naples, sausage and rapini is a classic flavour pairing. Our Brooklyn version is cream based with local Italian sausage and rapini infused with garlic and chillies. Cream Sauce, aged mozzeralla, garlic, Italian sausage, sautéed rapini.

Straight Outta Brooklyn (Granville Island) – Kind of a Big Dill
The perfect blend of crunch, salt, and creamy garlic and dill flavour! Its a cream sauce pizza with lots of cheese and thick cut dill pickle slices from Granville Island’s own Hobbs Pickles. This pie might sound a little quirky, but this has become a staff favourite and we’re excited to share it for a limited time with our guests.

Pizza Rubato Napoletana – Figurati
With this pizza, you’ll adore the blend of sweetness and heat as well as the genuine Italian flavour. Figurati is an Evoo-based pizza with red onions, fresh ricotta, and milky Fior di latte as toppings. Chili flakes and oregano were used as spices. A drizzle of chili-infused hot honey completes the process. We’re quite happy with how this one-of-a-kind creation turned out.
