Last month we attended the second instalment of Country Night at everyone’s favourite pub by day, turned rowdy Club by night.
Everything you like about Lamplighter, but with a country/western spin. We would dress the part with cowboy hats and boots, bolo ties, and oversized belt buckles. The costuming certainly added to the mood and helped us fit in when the live musicians came on to do their set.
Sadly there were no line dances or hoedowns, but you could order buckets of Corona beer and all the shots to finish them with.
And if dancing is not your scene, (even with the drinking), look to one of their many arcade games, all of which were set to free play for the night and included duck hunt, pinball, and basketball free throw.
Not a regular occurrence, but a great themed night with great energy, definitely something to look out for in the future.
