2026 Nissan Sentra SR Premium

This week I had the sporty, aesthetically sharp, and stylish 2026 Nissan Sentra SR Premium as my whip of the week. I noted all the compliments I got from my friends who I gave rides to or pulled up in front of. The all new redesign for 2026 was certainly turning heads, while staying true to the distinct SR styling elements.

This feeling carried into the modern interior. It is a mix of media in soft leathers with double stitching in gray and red, and plastics ridges with textured panels. I enjoyed the look of the coloured dimpled patterned on the faux leather seats. The red pin art matched the red stitching and added to the sporty aesthetic.

The Sentra SR Premium’s layout features a full tech suite that included the Nissan Safety Shield 360 with the latest ProPilot Assist and LED headlights front and rear. There were dual 12.3 inch display screens that wrapped around the steering wheel. Touch screen control with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, along with the new NissanConnect Infotainment Software. All of which made connection and its navigation seamless.

The driver seat has 12 way power adjustment, and both it and the steering wheel were able to heat. Although the cooling function would have been more helpful this sunnier and hotter week. Also new for the 2026 Sentra is the ambient interior lighting, which allows you to set the mode for night drives.

As for the way it handled, there was plenty of power behind the wheel. Quick to accelerate and just as sensitive on the breaks. It was nibble and compact enough to allow me the grace of narrow three point turns and to pull 180s on the road.

I just wished that the reverse cameras weren’t as grainy. They weee functional, but the distorted image took away from the modern technology feel of the rest of the vehicle.
