Downtown Abbotsford in the 2022 Honda CR-V

On this weekend we were exploring Abbotsford with a three day and two-night staycation. Whenever we visit, we always walk away concluding how great the city is, and this trip was no exception.

The 2022 Honda CR-V was the perfect vehicle for our intercity and surrounding farm life excursion. From unpaved country roads to busy highways and consecutive roundabouts, the CR-V handled it all.

It had great acceleration, and easy handling for extended driving. Although be warned of over steering. The wheel is touch sensitive and highly reactive for precision maneuvers. As seen with the multiple turns we took on 3 different roundabouts, narrow curved roads, and sharp valley turns.

All the CR-V’s smart technology made going back and forth in parts unknown a breeze. We fully relied on its intuitive infotainment system to guide us through our itemized itinerary. Syncing it with Bluetooth connect to be able to alert us on scheduled appointments/reservations, navigate us to the destination with the map function, and all while playing the perfect soundtrack.

The spacious cabin gave us plenty of wiggle room for a cruise for two, with a stunning panorama skylight. It is just a shame that it was not hot or sunny enough to fully utilize it.

But the best part was the gas economy of the 2022 Honda CR-V during a time where Vancouver and the Fraser Valley saw gas prices the highest it has even been, hitting 235.9. The CR-V’s Econ mode and the option to enable stop engine when idle was of great help in decreasing our costs. We had the vehicle for two weeks and on top of our city-wide Abbotsford adventure, we also utilized the Honda for everyday commuting and errands and to fill the tank after two weeks it only cost us $60!

We would absolutely define the 2022 Honda CR-V as a great daily driver with versatile potential for all your automotive needs.

And while in our Honda we explored the entirety of downtown Abbotsford, compiling this list of 10 spots you must visit the next time you are Downtown Abbotsford. And honesty we missed many.
