Blush: Saintly x Fairmont Vancouver Popup
Pink has had its year! Between Barbie-core and the Mean Girls musical remake, the colour is everywhere, and rosé and sparkling wine is the perfect beverage to pair with it. That’s why starting today, on Valentine’s Day, Saintly Wines has teamed up with Fairmont Hotel Vancouver for a one of a kind pretty-in-pink experience.
Previously, home to their successful Kringle Bar comes their next seasonal themed Popup lounge. This is “Blush, and it delivers on what its name and timing suggests.
The lounge will run from February 14th to the 29th, daily from 4pm to late (except Sundays and Mondays). Visitors and hotel guests alike are invited to the basement of the castle for speciality cocktails and small bites, served with mini bottles of Saintly. They are poised for Pal-entine’s groups, Valentine’s Day couples, and even those who are just looking for the perfect backdrop.
You can’t miss it, with a pink phone booth marking the entrance. Past the gold sheen of the words “Blush” pink engulfs you. A bouquet of faux florals, a hall of floating balloons, a room trimmed in metallic tinsel, and a wall of candy conversation hearts. Any seat you take is an aesthetic one. Plush loungers, sequin throw pillows, and marble topped side tables.
I honestly didn’t get a chance to try any of the specialty cocktails or the food, so won’t be able to report on those. Too busy eating up the decor. Although, I am happy to announce I will be back this weekend to indulge and review them then.
I can say that the sparkling Saintly wine was divine and you can get them in single person serving sized bottles. And/or get a sample of one at the Fairmont Vancouver lobby this season.
