UFO Burger Pop-Up, Good Co. Bars

Today we were at Good Co. Bar to check out their new Pop-Up menu, a day early before it launched for the long weekend. Only available from April 18th to the 20th, 2025 you can stop by their Kitsilano location to check out Vancouver’s first ever UFO Burger. A fun treat leading up to 420 this was “designed to launch your tastebuds into orbit”, as per the press release.

Available in four different flavours, including a vegetarian option and one for dessert; we tried them all.

They have taken a regular burger and made it into a smash by squishing it down in their branded burger press. Each UFO reads “MY UFO” and the result is a regular burger given a sealed crust edge. A ring around its centre similar to that of a UFO or rings around a planet. A novelty that I fully appreciated, I found worth driving out for.

The Burger & Queso UFO is a classic beef patty smashed with crispy edges and fused with melted cheddar. Best fresh when the cheese is still gooey and the beef juicy. A simple combo, I could have used some ketchup and mustard for zip and pickles for my personal taste.

The Poutine UFO is the most filling of their burgers, combining the basic beef and cheese above with once crispy fries smothered in gravy. I didn’t get any stringy poutine cheese, but you do get the sharp cheddar coming through. Once again I could have used the acidity of ketchup for my personal taste.

The Vegetarian UFO is a veggie plant-based patty and not much else. A little bland in comparison to the other two. Once again more condiments would have easily remedy this, and you can easily order it on the side.

My favourite was the The Moon Mist Ice Cream UFO. A tutti-frutti blue, white, and purple coloured ice cream burger. It was predominately a sugary, artificial, grape cotton candy flavour; one you buy for kids from a grocery store freezer, but all in a good way. I have never tried this flavour before, and was happy to have it like this for my very first time. This was fun. My only critique would be to have the burger more like a cake, instead of the same as the above. This was have made it a more complimentary burger and filling pairing.

Each one of these are $9.99, which leaves more room in your budget to explore some of Good Co.’s brand-new Canadiana Menu. This includes a Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich, Halifax Donair, and a Maple Syrup Poutine.

Once again, these unique, never before seen in Vancouver, UFO Burgers will only be available for a limited time, only at their Kits location and through Uber Eats. So don’t miss out and live in regret of there not being enjoy novelty in your life. This taste is also enough for me to plan a return to try more of their regular menu.
